Nykaa.com recently launched its hair care range in the Nykaa Naturals category. Today I am reviewing the Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare range from this category. It has a total of 6 variants. These are – Apple cider vinegar & ginger for Anti-Dandruff, Fermented Rice Water & Bamboo for Dry & Damaged Hair, Onion & Fenugreek for Hair Growth, Charcoal & Bamboo for Deep Detox, Reetha & Shikakai for Dull & Brittle Hair, Amla & Curry Leaves for Anti-Hair Fall.
The Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo haircare range includes a shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask. Below 500 there is hardly a good haircare range in the market. Thankfully Nykaa kept the price range of that under 500. I am trying their fermented rice water & bamboo range And I must say this range is amazing. Packaging of the Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare range:
I have always been a fan of Nykaa’s packaging. They always nailed with their product packaging. They bring an aesthetic presence to their packaging. Their haircare ranges come with pastel colours. I really like pastel lilac colour packaging for this specific range of products. It gives a soothing vibe to us. This hair care range is made of HDPE plastic containers that are recyclable just like their other range.
The shampoo bottle has a push-up nozzle. Very easy to use, but I personally prefer a normal pump or cap. Because taking out the shampoo is quite a job.
The Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare conditioner come in a huge squeeze-tube packaging. I actually like how easy it is to use and looks so beautiful on the bathroom shelf. But be a little careful when squeezing the tube because you can deliver more than you need.
The hair mask of Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare is packaged in a plastic tub but does not have extra lids like other brands’ hair masks. It’s very user-friendly and easy to use. You can use your hand or any spatula you like to apply this mask to your hair.
Nykaa Natural Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Shampoo Review:
The shampoo of Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare is a bit runny and white in colour. There is no artificial colour added. It smells very good and makes my hair smell all day long. I have dry, frizzy and wavy hair and this Nykaa shampoo does not dry out my hair. Even I have not used any conditioner my hair feels so soft and voluminous.
If you apply oil to your hair, be sure to wash your hair twice as it will not remove the oil during the first wash. But it gives enough bounce and softness to my dry wavy hair. But I like to use Loreal Extraordinary Hair Serum on my damp hair after washing my hair. And I really like the final result.
This Nykaa Shampoo contains organic surfactants such as sodium lauryl methyl isethionate which is an organic, water-soluble, sulfate-free surfactant derived from coconut. It is very light and safe to use for scalp. The shampoo also contains other mild cleansers such as Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and Cocamidopropyl betaine (a naturally occurring organic surfactant which is come from coconut). Overall, I like this shampoo and would strongly recommend it for dry, frizzy hair.
Nykaa Natural Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Conditioner Review:
Nykaa Natural Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo conditioner gives your hair a silky finish and makes your fridge controllable. This is a good conditioner, not the best on the market. It is a silicone-based conditioner that helps reduce dryness and softens your hair. The texture of this conditioner is very creamy.
Nykaa conditioner is made with hydrolyzed silk protein, panthenol, jojoba seed oil, vitamin E and ingredients to increase hair strength, shine and smoothness, just like its shampoo. Although it contains silicone it did not build up in my hair. It helped smooth out my dry and frizzy hair.
Nykaa Natural Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Hair Mask Review:
This Nykaa hair mask works amazingly on dry hair. This mask is for those who are looking for softness in hair texture. This made my hair very soft, manageable and it also helped revived my curls and hold the curl! The texture, the fragrance – everything is perfect. You can use it as a mask, leave-in or conditioner.
It has many good moisturizing ingredients. The texture is very thick of this Nykaa hair mask. It is made with rich emollients and moisturizers that ensure that moisture is transferred deep into the hair.
My Experience with Nykaa Fermented Rice Water and Bamboo Haircare range:
When I used 3 products together from this range, my hair was smooth, silky and voluminous for 3 days. I think it really gave a hair spa effect. But when I use only shampoo and conditioner then it also makes my hair soft manageable but it doesn’t last more than a day.
