The Lakme 9 to 5 Vitamin C serum comes in an orange colour cardboard box and the actual product comes in a glass bottle. The bottle looks so cute. There is a dropper applicator on top of the bottle. The dropper allows us to manage the quantity of the product and ensure that the serum is always staying germ-free. The bottle is black in colour because vitamin c is photosensitive. So, keep this bottle in a dark, cool place to avoid exposure to sunlight.
Fragrance:
It has a pleasant, fresh lemon scent that is very delicate. Moreover, the scent does not last long, so the sensitive nose will not be bothered.
Texture
The Lakme vitamin c serum for face has a smooth texture and is slightly thicker than water.
How to use Lakme Vitamin C Serum?
- Take the desired amount of Face Serum.
- Apply the serum across the face, especially in the under-eye region, preferably on the freshly cleansed & toned face.

How to use Vitamin C Serum for face:
It’s been almost a month since I started using it. After cleansing my skin, I apply 6-7 drops to hydrate it every morning. This serum is so light that it doesn’t feel like you put anything on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy and gives me a visible glow.
Also, I used Vitamin C serum at night to hydrate my tired, dull skin and that does not give any white residue on the skin. It does not dry the skin, as I have dry to combination skin. People with dry skin may need to face moisturized after using this Lakme vitamin c serum for face.
My experience with New Lakme Vitamin C serum:
Initially, I started using the Lakme vitamin c serum for face at night after cleansing and toning. I need two drops of this serum for my face. It is a lightweight, water-based serum, so it spreads easily on the skin and does not feel oily or sticky. The serum completely absorbs into my skin within a few seconds.
Since I have dry skin I follow it with an oil-based moisturizer or facial oil at night. The serum certainly felt hydrated and nourishing. For the second week, I have followed the same routine with sunscreen in my morning routine. But in my morning routine, I use gel-based face moisturizer instead of oil-based moisturizer.
I didn’t experience any side effects from this serum. There wasn’t any uncomfortable or tingling sensation while using this. It’s very gentle on the skin.
