Overall, I liked the packaging of it. It is very luxurious to see and sometimes I wonder how Mcaffeine was able to make such amazing quality packaging and products at such an affordable price.
The texture of the Mcaffeine scalp scrub is like gel kind of. You can also see the scrub granules because it quite bigger in size. I have never used this kind of textured product before for my hair care.
The scalp scrub smells just like coffee and if you are a coffee lover like me, you will enjoy using this scrub. The smell can be a little stronger and a bit overpowering for sensitive noses. But it does not stay long.
How To Use Mcaffeine coffee scalp scrub?
Step 1:
Wet your hair and part it into sections. Apply the scrub to your scalp and massage it for a couple of minutes in gentle motions.
Step 2:
Repeat until your scalp is covered. Rinse thoroughly with water and follow up with a gentle shampoo.
How do I use it?
I would like to take out the two spoons of scrub and take it in a separate bowl. This helps to avoid water entering the scrub tub and, I apply it 2 times a week and not every day because scrub particles can be a bit harsh for the scalp for daily use. And also I do the scrub with a very light hand. After using this Mcaffeine Scalp scrub I washed it with shampoo and, usually, I use conditioner after shampooing.
My Actual Verdict:
I’m using it for 15 days. I like the way it cleans my scalp gently. The oily scalp problem is not completely solved, but it has been reduced to a great extent. But after applying this, you will definitely feel light-headed and the irritation will reduce instantly. It removes all sebum from my scalp and makes it so fresh. The texture is just amazing and very easy to use. Also does not dry out the scalp.
It has a gel-like consistency, is easy to massage into the scalp, and lathers just a little bit too making it easier to massage. It’s a nice product to regularly use to exfoliate the scalp in order to get rid of dirt, oil, and dandruff. Its got good ingredients like – coffee powder which is the physical scrub particles, glycerin, salicylic acid, and plant extracts which act as natural AHAs along with rosemary and caffeine.
I have very mild dandruff, especially in summer and the Mcaffeine coffee scalp scrub reduces it very well. I can’t say how it works on severe dandruff but it does a good job of exfoliating the scalp. And also makes hair super soft and lustrous. I must say that it is an excellent scalp exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and adds a wonderful shine to my hair.
