Packaging and Texture:

Minimalist Sunscreen SPF 50 comes in a white colour cardboard box and the actual product comes in a white colour plastic tube packaging. And it secures by a black colour plastic screw cap. All information is mentioned in detail on the box and on the tube.

The colour of this minimalist sunscreen is pure white and the texture is creamy but it is non-sticky, non-greasy, and does not feel heavy on the skin. It doesn’t give any white cast, but this sunscreen SPF 50 takes 15-20 seconds to blend properly on the skin. If you look closely at the texture, you will see that it has some very small grains. But they are not harsh on the skin and I think that’s why this Minimalist Sunscreen SPF 50 takes a while to blend properly.

  • Tips: However, remember to do a patch test before applying it to your face.

Minimalist Sunscreen review based on my actual experience

I decided to buy the Minimalist sunscreen because it is free of fragrance, octinoxate(Octyl methoxycinnamate or (OMC)), and Benzophenone-3 (Oxybenzone). This is a big plus point for sensitive skin. Also, it is a hybrid sunscreen that contains physical and chemical filters for sun protection.

Minimalist sunscreen SPF 50 also contains non-comedogenic ingredients that’s why sensitive skin people also can use it. I am using this sunscreen for the last 4 months and it hasn’t caused me any rashes or bumps so far. I feel that the sunscreen is more moisturizing because of the vitamin e. After applying this minimalist sunscreen it takes approx. 15 sec to blend properly on the skin and it does not give any white cast. Also, it does not irritate the eyes.

My skin feels very hydrated and moisturized after applying this sunscreen. I personally find the sunscreen moisturizing without any stickiness or greasiness. I don’t need any moisturizer after applying this Minimalist sunscreen SPF 50. But I think my super dry skin needs a separate moisturizer in winter. And those who follow the three-finger rule for sunscreen and have oily skin may find it heavy on the skin. Personally speaking, I think this sunscreen is more suitable for dry, normal skin. But it works wonderfully in winter on every skin type.

After 30 minutes of applying this sunscreen, my T-zone became sweaty, and I have to reapply it after 1-2 hours as it is not water resistant. In my opinion, this Minimalist sunscreen SPF 50 is not good for outdoor it’s best for indoors.

Final Word about Minimalist sunscreen SPF 50:

Minimalist Sunscreen SPF 50 is basically a moisturizing sunscreen with multivitamins that intensely hydrate the skin while making sunscreen application easier. It does not leave any white cast and is easily absorbed into the skin. Some may find it a bit heavy, especially oily, acne-prone skin types. The fact that this sunscreen falls under the 500 INR bracket, applies like a dream, has broad spectrum SPF 50 and offers PA++++ sun protection makes it a very popular sunscreen on the market.
