As like as your clothes, shoes, accessories – makeup kit is also very essential part of every women’s travel packing list. When we are going for a trip, or if you travel often  then definitely keep it in your mind that, you don’t skip your travel makeup kit and also remember that your makeup kit should not take huge space and increase your baggage weight.

Arranging travel makeup kit systematically  is very tough job for most of the girl’s, basically who don’t have enough knowledge of makeup. Because they can not decide which product is essential and which is not, from the thousands of makeup products available in the market. And at last we carry either wrong or huge number of products.

In this article today I am trying to give you some useful tips and tricks which makes your travel makeup kit packing easy. Though it is completely my own opinion and experience. Neither any company nor any product had endorsed me to write this article.

I personally prefer to make my makeup kit simple and versatile for my trip. I also keep in mind that the packaging of the makeup products must be sleek and compact.

1. BB/CC/Stick Foundation:

Base Makeup

For my base makeup (foundation & concealer) I always prefer BB or CC and Stick Foundations in the time of travelling. Before applying makeup first we need some moisturizer for our skin hydration. Hydrated skin always makes your makeup more flawless. BB/CC is all in one cream that makes our skin hydrate and prime your face nicely. Along with this it also gives us even tone skin, hide dark spots or blemishes and also it has good sun protection quality. Other option for face makeup is Stick Foundation. You can use it as a foundation and also as concealer to hide your dark circles, blemishes. Besides that you can use it as a highlighter to highlight your high-points of face.

Products recommended by me:

  1. 1. Pond’s BB, 2. Maybelline BB, 3. Lakme CC, 4. Maybelline Stick Foundation, 5. Lotus Makeup Stick

2. Powder:

Face Powder

Face powder keeps your face oil-free, sweatfree. It also makes your makeup longlasting. To set my base makeup I always prefer compact, not translucent powder because it makes your vanity bag very messy if you don’t close container’s cap properly. Also I prefer compact with SPF for extra sun protection and also it gives me some coverage on my bare face.

Products recommended by me:

1. Maybelline New York White Super Fresh Compact , 2. Lakme Sun Expert Ultra Matte SPF 40 Pa+++ Compact, 3. L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Pressed Powder

3. Kajal/Liner:

Kajal Pencil

For kajal I always prefer waterproof and smudgeproof gel eyeliner or kajal liner because you can use this as a kajal or as an eyeliner.
In kajal I always kept two colour options that is Black and Brown, because brown kajal is multitasking product. You can use it as a normal kajal / as an eye brow pencil. In emergency case you can use it for contouring purpose.

Products recommended by me:

 1. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal, Brown, 2. Plum Nature Studio All Day Wear Kohl Kajal, 3. L’Oreal Kajal Magique

4. Eyeshadow Palette:

Eyeshadow Palette

Choose brown based neutral nude shades for eyes, because you wear this without any hesitation with every outfit. I picked up one versatile eyeshadow palette, that have some matte shades/shimmery shades/dark shades/lighter shades. You can use most lighter shades as a highlighter. Matte brown shade for contouring or as an eyebrow powder.

Products recommended by me:

1. Maybelline Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, 2. Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Quad, 3. Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette, 4. Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette

5. Mascara:

Choose good quality waterproof mascara. Personally I prefer waterproof mascara to open up my eyes. In the market there are dozens of good quality mascara. You choose any one as your choice.

6. Lip Colour and Blusher:

Lip Colour and Blusher

When you select lip colours then always keep in mind that, choose long lasting waterproof lip colour and of course which lip colour can used as a blusher also. That solved huge problem about taking blusher separately in your makeup kit.

Products recommended by me (as a blusher and lip colour):

1. Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color , 2. Nykaa Pout Perfect Lip & Cheek Velvet Matte Crayon Lipstick, 3. NYX Whipped Lip & Cheek Souffle

7. Lip Balm/Tinted Lip Balm:

Lip Balm

Last but not the least is lip balm. Don’t forget to take good quality lip balm with SPF. We need sun protections also for our lips. Sun-ray makes our lips patchy, dry, dark. If you want that your lip balm gives you some tint in you lips, then choose any good quality tinted lip balm as your preference.

Products recommended by me:

1. The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter, 2. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Sexy Balm, 3. Maybelline New York Baby Lips Color Balm, 4. Nivea Original Care – Lip Balm

These features makes them Multitasking Makeup Products for your travel kit. I hope this will be helpful for your sweet trips in coming future.
